‘Knowing What Is Inside’
(An opinion of Rowell V. Pines BSIT)
How can you know if a man is lonely, when he/she hides it? …….
Why some people hides there feelings to others? Why do they make others happy when behind the mask, it cries? Why are tears locked at the shadows? Why they wear that mask, knowing that a clown smile for others and cries its own? .......
They say, people usually wear the mask, are those the joker ones. I think, they are partly right, because some psychologist says that people having problems in their homes usually find solutions by their friends, in terms of making others laugh.
This is just a common problem we usually encounter during schooldays as a student. Sometimes we forget that a clown is also a human being, and we all know that no one in this world lives without problem. But how can we help and give advice to that person when he/she itself hides it to us? Here’s the sign that we may refer to: first, watch and observe the person that you think wore the mask, and then make sure that you look after her/him even on its loneliness state. Then if you can see the crying eyes without tears, that’s the answer you are looking for. And what you are supposed to do after that, of course you will help her/him, by giving advice as a friend. But I tell you, it’s not the best way of helping him/her. It follows a procedure or steps; first you may ask her/him if she/he has a problem, of course the clown will say none, but you may convince him/her to tell so. Then tell her/him that you are willing to be the ear and a shoulder to cry on. But don’t give advice first, just let him/her finish and then try to understand him/her situation.
When the clown take off his/her mask, try to convince the person to go on, to face the reality of being one of the seedlings here on earth, and to let him/her realize how beautiful the life is.
And finally, why do I say so,………… for Im one of them…..
