What are the lessons that you learned after reading the commencement address of Steve Jobs? (at least 1000words)


Steve Jobs commencement address really is a heartbreaking, and breathtaking speech of his Life.

He actually shared 3 stories of his Life...

*his loss and love
*death

Connecting the Dots

It is about of steves interpretation on destiny. He said that, following your hearth will lead you to make great choices
and decisions. He allow the his surroundings to merge in his Life, taking all the twists and consequences he may experience at that time.

What strikes me most is that, his level of determination in fullfilling her dreams and ambitions. That every trials he
suffer made him a strong man, and that it puts every reason behind all of these. His not that intellectual man like Socrates and Pilates and even Da Vinci and Galileo Galilei, but they shared one common characteristic, the "blazing fire" of Determination.

He titled the first part of his story as Connecting The Dots, for it is actually a sort of tracing of what he have done and all that affects in his life. Connecting all the events and emphasizing of what achievement he got by that experience and drawing the line to connect all the dots while Looking Forward of what he is in present.


his loss and love

During the time that Steve holds the trinity of success, he ables to make things possible and meaningful. He adds color of every grayscale of Computer History and put his name all over at the top of industry. He once called his employees as pirates as a sign of determination and even implement overtimes in work even at the most "free call" day. But, Steve Jobs Story, is like fairytale, he lose, and suffer. He loss the company he build, loss the workers he love, loss the family he admire and even neglected by the friends he treasures. He even loss the Love he kept for almost the rest of his life and the balance of his habittat to deal with.

But then, the Actor never stops exploring, he stood up from his failure and treat that as a lesson for him. By his love and fashion of Computers, he was able to start a small company like NeXt and another company named Pixar. And later, he was able to came back to the Apple Company which he build. Like a typical story,..

It ends in "Happy Ending"....



Death

One of Steves most critical experience in his life, was the unwanted serious illness that almost stops and cuts his life to end. It affects both, his Physical and Mental attitude and characteristic of his chapter. “If you live each day as if it your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right”. In time of death every man are all equal. All external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure just fall away in the face of death. Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer a pancreatic cancer.There are times, that he tend to stop the race, and leave it to the others for him to rest. But, even this one, the hardest part, he beat it. He becomes an optimistic viewer to all things, to trust and to be contentend of what he've got. He actually conquer and control his emotions on showing his true condition to his family and friends. And was able to Live the 2nd chance borrowed time of his life

And so, Love, Determination, and Free Will...

These are the three major things ive learned on Steve Jobs Comencement Address.
It really affects the way of my learnings and how to apply it properly...
